How do I book a vehicle with Yello?

Booking with Yello is easy! You can book directly on our website, through WhatsApp, or by calling us. Simply choose your vehicle, select your preferred rental type (self-drive or chauffeur), pick your dates, and we’ll confirm availability.

Yes. You can modify or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Just reach out to us through the same platform you booked with, and we’ll take care of it

A grace period of 1 hour is allowed. Beyond that, late returns attract a small hourly charge. If you anticipate a delay, please notify us as early as possible.

One-day rentals are available under certain conditions. The minimum rental duration for the self-drive option is 2 days. One-day rentals are only accepted if the vehicle is available for the following business day. For requests beyond that, a minimum of two days’ rental is required. All one-day rentals are billed as full-day rentals, regardless of how many hours the vehicle is used. Pickup is typically from 6:30 AM and must be returned by 6:30 PM. Late returns attract overtime charges.

What are your payment options?

 We accept Online payment (VISA Debit/Credit, Mobile Money, etc) Bank Transfer, and Cash. Payments must be made before pickup. Corporate clients with approved credit arrangements can pay monthly.

For self-drive rentals, yes — a refundable security deposit is required. For chauffeur service, no deposit is typically needed unless otherwise specified.

Absolutely. The longer you rent, the more you save. Contact us for custom rates on weekly, monthly, or fleet rentals.

Can I choose a specific car?

Yes, you can! We’ll do our best to match your preferred car exactly. If it’s unavailable, we’ll suggest a similar or better alternative.

Our chauffeur service includes a professional driver, air-conditioned comfort, and punctual pickups. You only cover fuel and tolls unless a fuel-inclusive plan is selected.

Yes — especially for special occasions or intercity travel. Let us know your destination and we’ll provide a tailored quote.

What documents do I need to rent a car?

For self-drive, we need a valid driver’s license (Ghanaian or international) and an International Drivers Permit if foreign license, national ID, and proof of address. Chauffeur service only requires ID and contact details.

Only if they are listed as an additional driver and meet all the requirements. Let us know during booking.

What do I do if the car breaks down?

Stay safe and contact us immediately. Our support team will assist you or dispatch help. We aim to resolve issues fast and fairly and please do not attempt to fix anything on the vehicle, as we will not be liable for any costs incurred without prior authorization.

Yes, 24/7 roadside support is available for all active rentals. We’re just a call away if anything happens on the road.

Do you deliver cars to homes, hotels, or airports?

Yes! We offer convenient delivery and pickup across Accra and beyond. Airport pickups can also be arranged in advance.

We’re based in Accra, but we serve all of Ghana. Whether you need a car in Kumasi, Cape Coast, Takoradi, or Tamale — we’ve got you covered.
